[PRESS RELEASE] REVOLUTIONIZING FINANCE FOR EVERYONE WITH PINA | DECISION #4

CfDS YouTube Channel, June 16, 2023 – In today’s era, technological advancements have significantly transformed the financial landscape worldwide. One of the innovations that has emerged as a result of this development is financial technology (fintech). Fintech has played a crucial role in changing the way financial management, transactions, and access to financial services are conducted. Center for Digital Society (CfDS) has invited PINA, a financial management platform, to share their vision and mission in advancing the fintech industry in Indonesia in the fourth instalment of the Decision series. Vincent Liyanto, CFP®️, Senior Financial Consultant at PINA, was present as the main speaker, and Eka Nur Raharja, Community Outreach Staff at CfDS, assisted as the moderator for this event. As a financial expert, Vincent Liyanto, CFP®️, views the presence of the fintech industry as crucial in today’s times. This is because the modern society is “insufficiently” served by traditional financial institutions alone. Today’s society is actively seeking and in need of alternative financial services that are more democratic, transparent, efficient, and widely accessible. Therefore, the fintech industry has gained significant popularity among the people, including in Indonesia, where its growth has skyrocketed by 100% since 2015. The presence of the fintech industry has contributed to an increase in financial inclusion in Indonesia. However, financial literacy rates still lag behind. “The services provided by the fintech industry are easily accessible to anyone. However, not everyone understands how to effectively and optimally utilize these services,” stated Vincent.

To address this issue, PINA emerges as a solution. PINA is a startup that provides a financial management platform designed to assist users in managing and optimizing their personal finances. To help users achieve financial stability and effectively reach their financial goals, PINA offers various features, including expense tracking, budget planning, investment management, and comprehensive financial reports.

Moreover, PINA also provides financial consultations for personalized financial advice, accompanied by experienced financial planners. Additionally, there are supporting financial tools such as net worth tracker, goal tracker, budgeting, and investing. All these services adhere to PINA’s wealth management principles, which encompass financial management, building a wealth safety net, wealth accumulation, wealth preservation, and leaving a legacy in the end. In its operations, PINA does not overlook the utilization of state-of-the-art digital technology. Thus, PINA has become one of the credible and trusted fintech startups among its users.

Based on these integrated services, PINA aims to enhance financial literacy, provide easy access to fintech services, educate centralized financial management, and diversify investments among the Indonesian population. “We are highly enthusiastic about promoting increased literacy and financial competence among the Indonesian society,” concluded Vincent.
