Protection of Personal Data and the right of internet users related to privacy is a topic and issue that is often being discussed throughout the year. Even though the Personal Data Protection bill has been ratified, the protection of individual privacy still has a long way to go. For instance, in terms of the challenges and implementation. In response, the Center for Digital Society (CfDS) has conducted various studies related to data protection that seek to unravel the rights related to privacy in detail, the existing regulations, as well as the challenges and the public perception from the surveys that have been conducted. In this series of activities, CfDS has also collaborated with various stakeholders ranging from policy-making officials (such as officials from Commissions I of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia who are responsible for data protection-related matters), Ministry of Communication and Informatics of the Republic of Indonesia, Financial Services Authorities, Central Bank of Indonesia, academician as well as the affected communities such as service providers and their users.
