CfDS UGM Program for Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN)

Since 2018 CfDS has contributed a lot to increasing digital literacy in Indonesia. Both from primary digital literacy education, social media literacy to digital financial literacy. One of the programs consistently carried out by CfDS UGM is partnering with students carrying out university credit systems for a community’s social project (KKN). Since 2019, CfDS has held Jalan-Jalan Literasi Digital (JuLiD) regularly in several areas, especially KKN locations around DIY. Hundreds of participants/communities have been recorded as the CfDS UGM program participants while partnering with the KKN and local village teams.

CfDS UGM hopes that these digital literacy programs for the community via KKN will improve the quality of digital literacy in society, especially in rural areas. The scope of this activity is continuously enlarged every year. During the pandemic, CfDS UGM held a Digital Literacy Training of Trainers (ToT) for the KKN Team, which covered 52 KKN locations in Indonesia. This ToT is intended to create digital literacy agents that can provide information, share knowledge, and create other creative programs for KKN locations where they serve.

Registration Requirements:

  1. Students or the KKN Team
  2. Are or will be running the Community Service Program from the University
  3. Compulsory to attend training classes provided by CfDS UGM
  4. Committed to contributing significantly to society
